Overview


This EPDM O-ring is black in color, round in cross-section, has a durometer of 70A, and is designed for use in a wide variety of sealing applications.

EPDM is acceptable for temperature applications between -70 degrees F (-57 degrees C) to 300 degrees F (149 degrees C). It is compatible for use with water and steam, silicone oil and grease, polar solvents (alcohols), acids, glycol-based brake fluids, ozone, and weathering. It is vulnerable to many oils, gasoline, and solvents. This material meets ASTM International standards.

This EPDM O-ring has a shore durometer of 70A. Shore durometer is the hardness of a material, and its resistance to permanent indentation. A higher durometer value indicates greater resistance to indentation on a scale of 0 to 100, with 100 indicating no indentation.

O-rings commonly provide a pressure and fluid seal between cylindrically shaped, overlapping mating surfaces and are commonly seen in engines, faucets, flanges, valves, and various cylinders. They are circular in shape, with a round cross section and a hole in the center, similar to a doughnut. O-rings are available in various sizes, and can be ordered based on required nominal inside diameter (ID), outer diameter (OD), and cross-sectional (CS) diameter.

This EPDM O-ring meets standards defined by Aerospace Standard AS568A, which is the Aerospace Size Standard for O-rings.

I am mostly pleased with this purchase. I don't know about the other reviews but mine does collect dust and I wash it under water every 3 months or so. I have not noticed any more dust in my apartment since switching to this filter.

Thought I would try one of these, save money, save the environment right? Unfortunately it just didn't work for me. I have an overhead intake, and due to the weight of the filter, it won't suck up into the recess, and thus no seal. I tried to jury rig a solution to wedge it in there, but I'm not sure that it worked. I think this may have been the source of the problem, so those of you with an intake on a wall may have better luck than me. At the end of month one, no dirt came out of the filter when I washed it. Gave the filter two more months, washed again, still no dirt or dirty water. My understanding is that dirt should come out when you wash it, and since none is coming out, I can only assume none is getting trapped. Part of this may have to do with the overhead intake, but regardless, the product didn't seem to do the job. Hopefully someone gets this right because it's a great idea.

A couple of yeas ago I had to replace my hot air furnace and the installer put one of these adjustable washable air filters into it. They are so much better to work with than the disposable ones I used before. These filters slide into my furnace much easier than the old ones.

Since the original installation I bought another filter so I can swap them, and wash and dry the dirty filter at my leisure. I have been rotating the same two filters for several years and they are holding up very well.

I used the old filter as my cutting template. I did all the cutting outside, as the filter sheds a bit of the material as you cut it. It was fairy easy to cut, all I needed was utility scissors and a couple of clamps to hold the old filter on top of the new one.

I wash the filters outside with a hose. They clean easily. I change the filter in the spring and fall so I can do the washing outside. Once it dries I slide back into the plastic bag and it waits its turn for 6 months. I recommend this Eco Filter without hesitation!

I got the Motorola Finiti HZ800 in bulk packaging. I used this a few times, but immediately had trouble with it. When it worked, it had great clarity. However, when I turned it off, even after using it just a short time, then even a few moments later, when I turned it back on, it was dead. At first I thought the battery was terrible, but then I connected it to a power source for a few seconds and found that it worked again, no problems, and told me that the battery level was high. I used it for a few minutes, it worked great, then turned it off and turned it on again, with the same problem. I suppose I could get a car charger to overcome the problem, since I use earpieces only in my car, but I decided not to. I was using this with an iPhone 4S. I'm returning the earpiece.

I broke my first one and now have a second... I used to try BT earphones and never could get one that did not echo or was hard to hear the other side talking... tried Plantronics, other Motorola... nothing seemed to work well enough to replace hard wire until this unit... I was talking on the phone like never before... no one complained about echoing, I could hear... awesome... it goes pretty deep in your ear, but I use ear buds all the time with the iPod so no issue with that... maybe that is why I can hear this one over the others that sit outside the ear canal... have not had an issue with it turning on and off, so we'll see how that goes with the second unit... now if I could only find something to store it in while not using...

The quality of this pillow is bar none... from the talalay latex zoned pillow to the beautiful, voluptuous velour pillowcase. OMG! It is literally like a lovely squishy cloud to lay your head on. At first hug, I actually fell in love with this pillow because before trying the Z pillows, I was one for plush, soft pillows. HOWEVER, we proceeded to order the memory foam pillow and I astonishingly realized, I love the support of a firm pillow more. This pillow was just never the same to me after I was introduced to the Memory Foam Dough pillow and the Shredded Talalay Latex pillow. I'm a side sleeper btw. With my new preference for firmer pillows, I now feel that this pillow doesn't provide enough support (not for my head nor for between my legs), but its great to cuddle with while watching a movie. This darn pillow was also the most expensive one.

Found these for $15 brand new at FYE yesterday while black friday shopping with friends. We ended up leaving with 4 boxes of these. The many cables are a bit on the long side, but nothing a little twist tie can't fix up. For $15, these speakers were a steal. The sound quality is pretty sharp, and bass from the subwoofer was more than quality. My only complaint is that it took a little toying around with the EQ on my phone and iTunes to get the right mix of bass and treble. My music sounded like crap without using an EQ, but with the right settings these speakers are capable of giving eargasms. Even if I didn't get these on black friday, I would totally buy them for the full $30.

I picked up these speakers at the F.Y.E store for about 14 Dollars. I expected the quality to be crap also expected it to be crappy materials. So for what these speakers cost I am very satisfied i highly recommend for any students that live in dorms or people that don't want to spend a lot of money on technology. The quality is good, the bass is loud, and a big plus to this is that you can also plug in your iPod.

Up to this point, the best audio output experience I've had has been courtesy of my Sony MDR-V6 headset. But with regards to home theater or computer audio, I've stuck with what my televisions, monitors and laptops have provided (in other words: not much). And it's true, with this being a $30 product (that I got for $15), it's still on the thrifty and frugal side, but the price ultimately doesn't undermine its overall quality.

It wasn't until this product caught my eye that I heard of Cyber Acoustics who, after looking at their other products, appear to be a budget-based company. I'm just glad that their inexpensive prices don't seem to compromise what first-time or less-than-wealthy consumers might purchase. I wanted to upgrade my audio experience at home outside of my headset, but didn't feel like spending even $100 for a cumbersome set up. And though skeptical, I gave this 3-piece set a shot and I have to say I'm quite pleased with the results.

Although this system is listed primarily for use with MP3 players or computers, it can also suffice for other means, including home theater. It's not intricate or terribly loud compared to what more premier systems might be capable of, for two small speakers and an equally diminutive subwoofer, the quality is rather pleasing. Good clarity and enjoyable bass without muddling out the rest of the output too much. I'd highly recommend adjusting your audio/equalizer settings to get the most out of this speaker system, since it can pick up on a lot more than the standard audio of your TV or computer.

I've been using the system for music on my iPod and MacBook (primarily heavy metal--Amon Amarth, Dream Theater and Kamelot and the like), as well as games and DVD movies on my Xbox 360 (using an RCA "Y cable" for the latter); music and games sound great while movies have held up pretty well too. If you happen to come across this product, want a good improvement over the standard audio output your TV or computer without spending up to (or well over) the price of a new computer, then this is a viable option.

I bought one of these mitts for myself. I knew it was cute to look at, but I wasn't sure it would be very functional.

I was right.

The mitt itself is pretty small (think sock puppet). But more importantly, the mitt is really thin. So it doesn't do a very good job insulating your hand. I certainly wouldn't use it to hold only cast-iron skillets while cooking, and even removing cookie sheets from the oven was nearly painful.

If I had to lift a heavy casserole dish out of the oven, I'm sure I would burn myself.

Bottom line: Much cuter than functional. I'd pass next time.
